Heat Treatment Furnace
Bogie Type Heat Treatment Furnace
The temperature and atmosphere of our Bogie Hearth Furnaces vary based on the process and application, including tempering, annealing, soft annealing, normalizing, stress relieving, homogenizing, and recrystallization. The typical operating temperature ranges from 250 to 1150°C. These furnaces are used to heat treat heavy and large steel parts.
Before the bogie enters the furnace, it is carried outside using an overhead crane or forklift. A unique design allows the furnace to be opened and the load removed for cooling or quenching while the furnace is still hot and operating. Normally, the load is cooled within the furnace before the operator moves the bogie out.
